The wait time with our company usually fluctuates from one to five weeks depending on how busy we are. We try not to schedule fences out beyond the five week time period from the date of city permit obtained as we understand that most of our clients want their fences installed “yesterday” and we try to accommodate that as much as possible. Quite often we are able to start installation sooner than normal wait indicated on your official quote.

SP Fence calls JULIE on every project to ensure we don’t hit anything underneath the ground. We will call JULIE 48 hours before the project begins to make sure all marks are accurate and easy to read when we install your fence.

Permits are given by the city in which you live. SP fence usually does not help with obtaining permits yet we can absolutely do it if it is a need of our clients.
The permit process is likely to be short and painless. When our clients go to the city to get their permit the city asks a few questions, looks at the plat of survey and the estimate and usually approves it right away. Sometimes there is a few days wait on the permit.

Installation usually takes no more than a few days on most projects. The break down is – day one we tear down and haul away old fence if applicable, dig post holes, and set the posts. The second day we typically build the frame with 2×4’s and attach boards.
On aluminum or PVC installations, the install can take a couple of days depending on the size of the project. A typical 150 LF yard is usually finished within 2 days.
Again, every fence can be a little different and we are never in control of factors such as rain and soil condition (If the soil is very rough, it can take longer to dig post holes).
